ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online Licensing

Beginning with the Fall ’21 semester and going forward all Warner College graduate* and undergraduate students are automatically provisioned an ArcGIS Pro software license (for using the software on their own computer or research lab computer) and an ArcGIS Online account. The license and account are tied to the CSU Esri organizational account (CSURAMS) and your CSU eID credentials.

WCNR students may download the ArcGIS Pro software from https://projects.warnercnr.colostate.edu/software/ for installation on their personally owned device if desired. Access to the software download site requires logging in with CSU eID credentials. WCNR students with a macOS-based computer have access to the software from off campus via our Remote Computer Lab.

The computers in the WCNR computer labs, including the Remote Computer Lab, use a WCNR license server for ArcGIS Pro so an individually provided license is not required. However, using ArcGIS Online in the computer labs will require the use of the individual student account.

General checkout laptops now require the use of the individual ArcGIS Pro license.

Instructions for activating  your ArcGIS Pro license and accessing ArcGIS Online can be found here: https://projects.warnercnr.colostate.edu/software/

*If you are a Graduate Degree Program in Ecology (GDPE) student please email wcnr_it_support@mail.colostate.edu to request an ArcGIS Online/ArcGIS Pro license.
