Accelerated Master's Program

An AMP option for the Master of Tourism Management degree is available to undergraduates in HDNR and NRT at CSU who meet eligibility requirements. Please complete the form below to apply.

Eligibility requirements(Required)
Students must be an undergraduate in NRT or HDNR with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have at least 60-credits.
GPA requirement(Required)
For all students, a cumulative undergraduate CSU GPA must be 3.0 or higher at the time of application to the program and must be maintained as 3.0 or higher through the completion of the bachelor’s degree. For transfer students, the cumulative undergraduate GPA for all transfer work should also be 3.0 or higher.
When can I apply?(Required)
HDNR or NRT students may apply for AMP once they have accumulated at least 60 credits. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Current HDNR and NRT undergraduates that meet the above requirements may submit their application at any time during the academic year. If admitted, students may begin taking AMP courses in their spring semester of junior year.
Courses(Required)
Undergraduates who are accepted into AMP may take up to 8-credits of the courses below that count towards their undergraduate degree and a future MTM degree at the same time: (1) NR 569 Conservation Communication Fundamentals (2) NR 570 Conservation Managers – Media Communications (3) NR 571 New Media Communications for Conservation (4) NR 572 Strategic Communications for Conservation (5) NR 573 Conservation Crisis Communications (6) NR 574 Advanced Communications for Conservation (7) NRRT 567 Tourism Entrepreneurship
