ESS Fellowships

USDA NIFA Multicultural Scholars Program (MSP) Fellowship

The CSU Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory (NREL), CSU Access Center, and CSU Microbiome Network in coordination with the US Department of Agricultural Multicultural Scholar’s Program (MSP) will offer a fellowship opportunity beginning Fall 2021 to students from CSU Alliance Partnership High Schools. Applicants should be highly motivated and desire to pursue a career, or have interest in: human, animal, agricultural, plant and soil biology, or environmental systems. ESS S-STEM Fellowship

The ESS S-STEM Fellowship was awarded from 2015-2020 through a grant from the National Science Foundation. It provided eligible Colorado residents in ESS and Watershed Science the opportunity to study environmental change and solutions in a scholarly program supporting their student success. Fellows received up to $10,000 per year based on merit and financial need.

USDA NIFA REEU Fellowship

The USDA NIFA REEU Fellowship in Integrative Agroecology and Sustainability at Colorado State University (CSU) provides research placements for college-level sophomores and juniors. Fellows participate in work addressing complex challenges to global food security and environmental change. The program is sponsored by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) to provide a Research and Extension Experience for Undergraduate (REEU) students.
