SOCIETY OF ECONOMIC GEOLOGISTS
The CSU Society of Economic Geologists student chapter is an organization designed for those students who are serious about the pursuit of knowledge in the field of ore deposit geology. This includes the fields of structural geology, geochemistry, petrology, mineralogy, sedimentology/stratigraphy, geophysics, hydrogeology/hydrology and geomorphology as it pertains to the genesis, discovery and extraction of “economic” minerals and elements. Our student chapter offers an opportunity to meet like-minded geoscientists and to gain experience and knowledge through club organized field trips and guest lectures from industry and academic experts in the field of economic geology.
Please contact our club officers for more information, or stop by at our next club meeting.

SOCIETY OF EXPLORATION GEOPHYSICISTS
Colorado State University’s Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) student chapter is dedicated to providing high quality geophysics experiences to any student who shares a curiosity for the subject. SEG sponsors events to help students learn about industry and the cutting edge of geophysics while making important connections with an invited SEG honorary lecturer or visiting industry professional. Chapter members can have fun and build connections with fellow students on field trips to places like the National Earthquake Information Center in Golden or an active seismic survey in the DJ Basin. Whatever your geophysics passion, the SEG Student Chapter is here to support students in achieving their goals.
