What Can Volunteers Do?
Our volunteers are crucial to the mission of the Environmental Learning Center, and they fill many roles. Some past and present volunteer opportunities include:
- Cut, prepare, and plant willow stakes to assist with erosion control
- Monitor wildlife for our CitSci program
- Weed, plant, and harvest in our pollinator and learning gardens
- Lead games and activities during a Great School Escape
- Help spread the work about the ELC at community events
- Aid ELC staff members with invasive plant control
- Work to improve our trails
- Share your expertise with ELC program participants
