Request Financial Aid for a Field Trip to the ELC

The Environmental Learning Center is proud to partner with The Poudre Heritage Alliance
to help bring environmental education to all students in our community!

 

Teachers can request financial aid toward our programs and your transportation costs by filling out the application on the Cache la Poudre National Heritage Area’s “Learning in our Watershed” program website. If approved, they will require a trip report, receipts, and a photo to receive your funds. Further instructions will be provided by The Poudre Heritage Alliance upon approval.

While our fee is normally due on the day of a program, we will extend the deadline for those who receive funding through The Poudre Heritage Alliance.

Please note that the Environmental Learning Center is not involved in this process beyond this referral; all action must be taken by your organization to request and receive funding. We will collect payment from your organization and ask that you fill out this form to complete the process: Poudre Heritage Alliance Field Trip Funds at the ELC 

Submitting the application does not guarantee funding—please review the eligibility and requirements for more information. Grades 2-5 are given priority, but others may be considered.

How to request funding through The Poudre Heritage Alliance:

APPLY
1. Submit the “Learning in our Wathershed” application.

NOTIFY US

2. Upon approval, alert the Environmental Learning Center by emailing us at [email protected]. We can then make accommodations for your payment due date.

SUBMIT MATERIALS

3. Following the field trip or program, you will submit a post-trip report, provide receipts, and provide at least one photo of the trip (please note that the provided photo release waiver must be signed by guardians prior to the trip.)

RECEIVE FUNDS

4. Funding will be sent to your organization. You are responsible for paying the program or transportation fees—The Poudre Heritage Alliance does not send these funds directly to partners or transportation.
