Why WCNR Students?

Students looking at a map outside

“… the level of ambition and academic proclivity seen in the students of the Warner College of Natural Resources continues to impress not only our staff, but the rest of our extensive volunteer community as well…”
– Former Community Relations Coordinator

“WCNR hires stand out in Rocky Mountain Conservancy because of the energy and preparedness they bring to the work. WCNR students are able to perceive problems in comprehensive ways, demonstrate a desire to contribute meaningfully to the organization, and show commitment to the work.”
– Former Conservation Corps Manager

“WCNR students come to Colorado Parks and Wildlife with a strong understanding of Colorado ecology, natural resources, and park management practices. The students are well-trained and experienced in the skills that make CPW employees successful on the job.”
– Former Statewide Education Coordinator
