About Katie
Katie is a research associate in the Geosciences Department, working under a cooperative agreement with the National Park Service (NPS) on the NPS Geologic Resources Inventory (GRI). Her career has focused on the transfer of scientific information from scientists to the public and public-land managers. Katie has worked for the National Park Service in Rocky Mountain National Park (Estes Park, Colorado) in the Interpretation and Ranger Divisions, the Colorado Geological Survey (Denver, Colorado) as the outreach coordinator, and the Geological Society of America (Boulder, Colorado) as a program officer. Since March 2010, she has been working full-time on the GRI.
