About David

I am the director for the Colorado Natural Heritage Program, and spend most of my efforts on program coordination and outreach, and on developing new projects and initiatives for the program. I do a lot of coordination with partners throughout Colorado. My background is in botany and I have worked throughout Colorado studying rare plants and plant communities. Prior to my work in Colorado I worked in the Alaskan and Canadian Arctic on botany field projects. I was also a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific in 1997-1999.
