About Andrew

Andrew joined CFRI in 2019. Working with foresters and other natural resource managers across Colorado, Andrew assists with project planning, monitoring treatment effectiveness, and adaptive and collaborative management. He works with partners to use the best available science to implement effective forest management that restores important ecological processes such as fire and promotes healthy forests that will be resilient to future disturbances and a changing climate. His research interests include understanding the complex relationships between forests, disturbances, and climate, and the social and political context for effective landscape-scale forest management.
