About Nina

Nina has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Renewable & Clean Energy Engineering from the University of Dayton. She currently works at The AES Corporation, a utility and power generation company that focuses on renewable energy. Her PhD research as well as her role at AES explores the intersection of biodiversity and renewable energy systems. Outside of her career and academics, Nina enjoys spending time in nature with her dog and engaging in activities such as snowboarding, golfing, hiking, camping, yoga, and traveling in her campervan!
