About Susan

Susan is a Botanist with the Colorado Natural Heritage Program. She has focused her research on the rare plants of Colorado for over 20 years and is the principal author of the Colorado Rare Plant Guide. Susan has conducted field research across Colorado, and has written numerous Best Management Practices, and Conservation Action Plans. She works with a state-wide team of botanists on the Colorado Rare Plant Conservation Initiative, which aims to boost the effectiveness of rare plant conservation efforts across Colorado. Her current interests also include pollinator conservation and rare plant pollinators.
