About Michael

Mike Ronayne is an Associate Professor of Hydrogeology in the Department of Geosciences at CSU. He received an MS in Hydrology from the University of Arizona and a PhD in Hydrogeology from Stanford University. His research investigates flow and transport through heterogeneous aquifers and connected groundwater-surface water systems, and he develops groundwater management models to inform the sustainable use of water resources. Dr. Ronayne teaches courses in hydrogeology, groundwater modeling, and geostatistics, as well as an introductory environmental geology course.
