About Savannah

Savannah Lehnert joined CFRI in 2022 as a Research Associate. Broadly, she is interested in understanding the impacts of anthropogenic activities on forested ecosystems and wildlife. Savannah has done research studying the impacts of tropical deforestation on avian biodiversity, has developed methods for increasing community engagement in rural agroecology planning, and has advanced collaborative landscape restoration efforts in the Southwest. Her work has taken her to Costa Rica, Oregon, Arizona, and New Mexico.
