The Donald and Esther Harbison Research and Education Center

The CSU Mountain Campus is soon to be home to the Donald and Esther Harbison Research and Education Center.

A new space for teaching, learning, and research

The new building will contain:

  • Flexible classroom space
  • Teaching lab space
  • Research lab space
  • Faculty and TA work areas and offices

There will also be spaces for students, faculty, and staff to gather, and a deck with tremendous views up the valley toward the Mummy.

Design for the building is underway, and the Warner College Community will have several input opportunities, both through open house engagements and online.

Project Funding

Funding for the building came from multiple sources, including:

  • A very generous gift from Dona Hildebrand, who is naming the Center in honor of her parents, whom met one another at the Mountain Campus in the 1920s;
  • The students of Colorado State University who generously contributed through the University Facilities Fee Advisory Board; and
  • Warner College of Natural Resources funds.
