Interests
- Dr. Solomon’s current research focuses on the interface of development, livelihoods and collaborative resource management in communities adjacent to protected areas. She has evaluated integrated conservation and development projects in Latin America and East Africa. She also develops and tests innovative social science research methods for assessing illegal resource use.
