About Cassandre
I grew up in France, between Paris and Normandie. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Biology and Evolution at Paris Sud University and my Master of Science in Conservation Ecology at Paris Saclay University. I am a PhD candidate at Colorado State University with the Center for Human-Carnivore Coexistence. My research explores human-bear interactions through spatial ecology, social science and policy. Particularly, I study strategies to reduce urban conflict between people and American black bears in Colorado.
