Have you ever wondered how the landscapes we live in and visit were formed? That question is my passion, especially when focused on the amazing topography of the American West. As geomorphologists, my students and I get to know these famous landscapes and their histories at a whole different level. Over my career, I've shifted to the administration and promotion of geoscience programs, which brings its own fresh challenges and rewards.
