About Brian

Brian D. Woodward is a forest ecologist, NSF Graduate Research Fellow, and PhD candidate in the Graduate Degree Program in Ecology at Colorado State University, studying under Dr. Paul Evangelista at the Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory. Growing up in Northern California, Brian has been a lover of forests, particularly Quercus, Sequoia and Sequoiadendron forests, since a young child. His research covers a wide range of topics, spanning from remote sensing, to fire ecology, to the seed ecology of conifer species.
