I am an aquatic ecologist who studies questions that address fundamental ecological questions while focusing on managing and conserving fishes. Themes include effects of warming on growth and phenology, carryover effects of early-life environments, interactive effects of environmental change and exploitation of commercial and recreational fisheries, and behavior as a tool for predicting and reducing threat of invasive species.
