Participants will build efficacies on how to acknowledge micro-aggressions. Participants will learn intervention strategies and how to effect change during a situation resulting from micro-aggressions and implicit bias. The objective of this training is to provide the knowledge, definitions, and literature to help individuals recognized potentially hurtful situations that cause hurt and/or harm to a targeted individual/s. Understand options in intervening and being an upstander to reduce the threat of continued and persistent microaggressions. Recognize signs of violence, prejudice, hate and knowing how to support targets.
