Welcome to the Wildland Fire Science Lab!!!
The Rocca Fire Science Lab is dedicated to research and teaching in the fields of wildland fire science, forest restoration, plant community ecology, and landscape ecology. While much of our work emphasizes the management and ecology of wildland fire, our research also addresses other relevant problems affecting ecosystems in the Rocky Mountains and across the United States, including fuel reduction treatments, bark beetle disturbances, invasive species, and climate change. We are located in the Natural and Environmental Sciences Building, room A115, on the Fort Collins campus of Colorado State University.
