Number of Individual Covariates

The number of individual covariates is the number of additional variables (or covariates) that are appended onto each capture history input statement.  Individual covariates might include weight of the animal at the time it was first captured, age or sex, or some other attribute that is specific to the individual that will be useful for modeling in the design matrix.

An example of input of individual covariates is given in the Encounter Histories File examples.

The upper limit on the number of individual covariates is set by computer memory.
