Model Name

The Model Name is the label used to identify this particular model.  This label identifies the parameter estimates in the Results Browser and the  Results File.   The Model Name is different than the Run Title, which is identification for the data currently being analyzed.

Model names that are entered in the dialog box are enclosed in braces { ... } to provide a model name notation.  If you do not provide the braces, they will be added.  Some examples of model names are S(g*t) r(g*a) to indicate a model with survival rates that is group- and time-specific, and reporting rates that are group- and age-specific, S(t) r(.) to indicate a model with time-specific survival rates and constant reporting rates, and S(g+t) r(g) to indicate a model with survival rates that are time-specific with an additive group effect and reporting rates that are group-specific, but not time-specific.

You can change the model name by selecting the Adjust | Model Name change choices from the Results Browser menu.  In addition, you can provide some additional notes about this model with the Model Notes capability.
