Contant PIM
A parameter matrix that is constant has the same parameter for every age and time. In the following parameter matrix, with 5 occasions, each occasion has the same parameter:

1 1 1 1
1 1 1
1 1
1
Thus, regardless of the occasion or the animals's age, the parameter value is parameter 1. To initialize a parameter matrix to a constant matrix, set the upper left value in the edit box to the first parameter, and click on the Initial Constant menu selection. This first value will be used to set the remainder of the matrix. Thus, in the above matrix, a 1 in the upper left edit box results in the matrix shown.
