About Watershed Club:
The Watershed Club is a student-run organization dedicated to forming a community passionate about water and its vital role in the environment. Watershed Club provides opportunities and experience in leadership, networking, volunteering, and collaboration. Past events have been documentary film viewings, restoration projects, Poudre Canyon highway clean-ups (pictured), fundraisers, and many others to come.
What is Watershed Science?
Watershed Science is the focus of natural processes and the anthropogenic activities that affect the quality and quantity of water bodies. The water cycle between Earth’s atmosphere and land surface, land use and management, policy, meteorological and atmospheric sciences, and snow hydrology are just a few facets of watershed science.
The club always welcomes new members and encourages people with different backgrounds and interests to get involved. CSU offers many different majors, and you do not have to be in the Watershed Science major to be a part of the club. In fact, we would enjoy incorporating students’ other majors into club events and ideas. Please join us at our bi-weekly meetings on Mondays at 4:30pm in NR 100 or participating/attending any of our events!
Most events will be advertised with flyers, via email from the Watershed Club and associated faculty, and announced at meetings. We encourage everyone to attend the meetings and events as they are open to all students.
