We also have two volunteer positions in exchange for FREE registration to the upcoming restoration conference- so come by and stake claim to one of the last remaining spots!!
We will be in the back of the research greenhouses next to the NREL at the south end of the quad, by pitkin. Please enter through the north doors and head through the tropical room to bay 112.
The society for ecological restoration CSU student chapter is one of the first student chapters of the international professional organization, http://www.ser.
Our student chapter works with local and regional restoration professionals as well as non-profit organizations to raise ecological knowledge and pair students with proper mentors. This year we will be hosting student mentor mixers both locally and at conferences regionally. We also host a plant sale to educate the public on the importance of native plants and to raise money for student participation in local conferences.
We have an official Listserv set up through CSU. If you would like to subscribe and/or unsubscribe an email address from the list, follow this link - http://www.acns.colostate.edu/ListServ. Under the section List Subscriptions, click on non-course related listserv. Our list name is RESTORATION.
We encourage both graduates and undergraduate participation.
