"The conference was filled with fantastic presentations and workshops – my only complaint of course was that I could not attend them all since they were concurrent sessions – but of course, that is a compliment to how many fabulous people you were able to pull together."

"[M]y main area of focus involves urban wildlife conflict (Prairie dogs, mosquitoes, mountain lions, deer, bears and more oh my!) but I also work with weeds, wetland/water issues and diseases such as West Nile Virus and plague.  And then there is the crew supervision, volunteer management, environmental education and City Council/political process.  The variety has me acutely aware that there is always more to learn (so it is a good thing I love to learn)!  That is why the conference was so wonderful... both for the presentations and the personal" conversations.
