The purpose of the Unit is to facilitate awareness and understanding of public values regarding natural resources, improve communication with the public regarding natural resource issues, to facilitate understanding and prediction of social impacts of natural resource decisions, and improve methods of applying human dimensions information in decision-making.
The HDNRU promotes and draws upon the diverse group of social scientists at CSU who are actively involved in research related to the human dimensions of natural resources.
