CSU Warner College assists with Bioblitz to engage underserved audiences

Students from Colorado State’s Warner College and several other universities aided in the National Park Service's bioblitz at Bandelier National Monument. A bioblitz is a 24-hour, rapid species inventory that engages citizens to help identify and inventory species.



The students, led by ESS faculty affiliate Dr. Gillian Bowser, engaged in the effort as a part of a larger National Science Foundation project aimed at increasing the number of people of color who engage in both the parks, and the sciences.
