His projects include research related to to connecting youth to the natural environment through educational and inquiry-based experiences that occur in both formal and informal settings. In addition, he has worked in many capacities in East Africa to identify economic development opportunities related to tourism and interpretation, and environmental education of youth. Dr. Bruyere also serves as director of the CSU Environmental Learning Center, a 200 acre natural area near the CSU campus. B.A. (Environmental Policy, Washington State University, 1993), M.S.
