You need JavaScript enabled to view it Personal Website  Phone: 970-491-6519 Office Location: NESB A116 Personal Interests & Studies: Forest ecology, production, restoration, and biogeochemistry <p> B.S.F. - Forest Management, Northern Arizona University, 1976<br /> M.S. - Forest Ecology, University of British Columbia, Canada, 1980<br /> Ph.D. - Forest Ecology; Soil Science and Botany minors, Oregon State University, 1982 </p> <p> He teaches various ecology courses, including general ecology, forest ecology, and graduate courses in specialized areas of ecology. </p> <p> Currently, Dr. Binkley serves as the Director for the Colorado Forest Restoration Institute, established by Congress and the Governor of Colorado to improve the health of Colorado's forests, and reduce risks of catastrophic wildfire. His research includes experiments with fast-growing Eucalyptus plantations in Hawaii and Brazil and investigations of forests dynamics across landscapes and long periods of time. </p> |
