Monday, March 15th
Morning: 5. Snowpack energy balance; 6. Snow in and around the canopy (lectures)
Afternoon: Snowpack properties: density, temperature, and stratigraphy in snow pits (lab)
Evening: 7. Modeling snow processes and snowmelt runoff (lectures)

Tuesday, March 16th
Morning: Tour of SNOTEL site and weather station, snow around trees, surface roughness (lab)
Afternoon: Free time

Wednesday, March 17th
all day: Spatial snow survey: Depth measurements and canopy assessment
Evening: Snow survey data entry and analysis; 10. Avalanche and hazard evaluation (videos)

all day: Snow management at Ski Areas
Evening: clean cabin and pack up

Friday, March 19th
Morning: depart for home
