Macroinvertebrates - Colluvial Hollows

(Information compiled by Emily Banks)

Because of the very small drainage area and potential lack of perennial flow, macroinvertebrates present in colluvial hollows are likely to be those tolerant of disturbance and able to migrate between what may be widely separated patches of suitable habitat.

Vertebrates - Colluvial Hollows

Based on the elevation distributions below, we then assume that species are present in any perennial flow process domain within their respective elevation range. Fish are thus unlikely to be present in colluvial hollows.
